After many years of planning and praying, Growing Step by Step Christian Child Develpment Center finally came to fruition in February of 2009. Mother, daughter team, Karen Pitts and Krystal Street were presented with the opportunity of opening a much needed child care center in Anna after a series of unfortunate events left many parents without child care. Through a lot of praying done by both individuals, as well as their friends and families, Karen and Krystal took advantage of this wonderful opportunity. On May 11, 2009, Growing Step by Step officially opened its doors to the public.

The mission of Growing Step by Step is to provide each child with not only a place to learn, but a homelike atmosphere that makes them feel comfortable and happy to be at school. Our goal is to instill the core values and morals of God, through promoting a positive Christian atmosphere. Each and every child that is in our care receives a quality education that not only prepares them for public school, but provides them with a positive sense of self.

Our certified, trained and educated teachers use a variety of methods to ready the children for their future academic careers. We work closely with the Anna Independant School District, to ensure our children are Kindergarten ready. We implement a variety of curriculums which provides each child an opportunity to acheive their goals.
