I have 14 years of experience in childcare and graduated from Texas Woman’s University in May 2008 with my Bachelors of Science in Child Development. I have dreamed of being a teacher and running my own center since I was a very young child. My goal is to create a homelike atmosphere that is warm and inviting to all. I believe children deserve to be treated with love and compassion and provided the best care, attention and opportunity available.

Karen Pitts - Owner/Business Manager AKA "Nana" I am Karen Pitts, Owner , Office Manager, and Krystal’s Mom. I am exceptionally thankful to the Lord for blessing us with this opportunity and believe He is in charge of this venture. Besides being Krystal's Mom, I am also the Step-Mother of 3, and Nana to 3 wonderful Grandchildren ages 21, 14, 12, and one on the way, as well as 2 beautiful little Chihuahuas.
I currently work full time for the United States Postal Service in McKinney. I spend most evenings at Growing Step by Step. I have held a variety of jobs in my life, but am looking forward to helping my daughter in starting this new chapter in our lives.
I would like to welcome each and every family and personally extend my gratitude for allowing us to become part of your family. We have a wonderful staff and look forward to sharing their abilities and knowledge with your child.
